NOC (No Objection Certificate)

Developer-issued letter required for transfers, mortgages, modifications or resales on a property still under the developer's master-community.

An NOC — No Objection Certificate — is a developer-issued document confirming they have no objection to a specific action on a unit, such as a resale, a mortgage, fit-out works or release of a title deed. It is required for any DLD transfer of a unit. Typical NOC fees range from AED 500 to AED 5,000 depending on developer and action.
